It’s sketch challenge at PalsPaperArts this week…

created by the lovely Margaret Moody and here is my take….

and I’ll quickly tell you about this guy…..

sorry for the cruddy pic. , but I was far up in my warehouse {packing Sundog orders} when I saw this hawk just standing by my gargage. I thought he was hurt because he didn’t move for a long time. What was really happening this sneaky hawk was using my bushes to hide. My neighbors feed every sort of wildlife available to New England… turkey…fox..chipmunks….birds. Well Mr. Hawk could not get a direct dive because of the tall Pine trees, so he patiently waited { so long I was getting ready to call the game warden and tell him we had an injured bird at the house} and then he made his move. He ran {never seen that before} took a quick low flight and thank goodness I didn’t see the rest { feathers flew, the sky filled with small birds, you get it}.
Well that was my excitement for today.
Enjoy!!

Sunday’s surfing turned into Mojo Monday’s inspiration. We spent yesterday afternoon {and evening} on the beach surfing and grilling and playing in the sand. I love living in Maine all year, but summer living in Maine is just perfect!! So when I saw today’s sketch for Mojo Monday 148…

well I must have still been in a Sunday frame of mind…

I wouldn’t mind staying in that frame of mind , but alas the phone is ringing and work is calling
Enjoy!!

It’s a WEDDING THEME at PalsPaperArts and I couldn’t resist using some new items from the new Stampin’ Up catalog { like the cute little Two step Owl x*tra large punch, the new In*Colors, and some Smooch Spritz}….

aren’t the little pearls to die for { they’re a great value too 150 [ 50each] in 3 verying sizes plus 3 strips [2-5/8"] for borders}. Have a fantastic weekend!

It’s a color challenge at Pals Paper Arts this week…..

very nice indeed…except i didn’t seem to have Going Gray so I substituted Basic Gray……. and I wish the photo captured all the smooch spritz I used!! If you could see the card close up you would see shimmer on the vintage wallpaper background…. the flower petals….and the center of the flower { three seperate smooch colors}……

Enjoy!!
